Mobility assistance required:

Handicapped facilities do not exist in many places on the itinerary. Therefore passengers must be able to navigate stairs, cracked or uneven sidewalks and terrain, unpaved walkways without access to railings, seating, or use of wheeled mobility equipment. You may be walking up to 3 miles in a day on the tour.

This is an “adventure tour”. The accommodations will be clean, well-managed, and the hosts will do everything in their power to ensure your comfort. Regardless, they still operate within the limitations of a developing country. The sidewalks are often cracked and uneven, tour members must be able to handle walking on uneven terrain. You should be aware that Colombia have particular features, which may or may not appeal to you, including weather, food, water, local customs, etc. The living standards, practices, and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services, and accommodation at your destination may be new to you. Such standards may or may not be comparable to those you would expect from similar establishments in the United States. Tour payment

The tour payment can be made via electronic check, credit card, or bank transfer.

Otherwise, here is a sample payment schedule:

Payment 1: Half of the remaining balance must be paid 60 days before departure, $550

​

Payment 2: The entire remaining balance must be paid 30 days before departure, $550

​

Single Supplement: $550 to be paid one month before the tour, included in Payment 2.

Credit card fees are challenging for small businesses, so we pass on the processing fees ($30 per registration) to those who prefer to pay by card. Let us know, and we will send a separate link.
